What Are The Best Toilet Paper Brands in 2020? (TP Reviews!)

While all toilet papers operate in the same way, they don’t all perform at the same level. Wondering which toilet paper you should buy? Here are the best toilet papers in 2020!

Quilted Northern Ultra Plush Bath Tissue

Quilted Northern Ultra Plush toilet paper is a great choice for those that have children or toddlers. It is extremely soft and it is one of the few toilet papers that come with 3 layers. Surprisingly it is also quite affordable, making it a favorite product for many people.

Angel Soft Toilet Paper, 48 Double Rolls, Bath Tissue (Pack of 4 with 12 rolls each)

An ideal balance of softness & strength, this toilet paper has 60% more sheets per roll than the Charmin Ultra Strong, making it a smart choice for your family and budget. Flushable and unscented, this paper offers everything you could ever need in a toilet paper.

Scott 1000 Bath Tissue

The Scott 1000 is one of the most popular toilet paper products. Because it contains 1,000 sheets per roll, it lasts for an exceedingly long time.

Although it’s a single ply tissue, it has decent strength. It is sewer-safe and septic-safe. It breaks up four times faster than the average bathroom tissue, so it is safe for RVs and boats.

Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper

Charmin’s Sensitive toilet paper would be a great product for the ones that need something more mild. It was designed to be used by those with sensitive skin, offering both aloe and vitamin E. Soft, yet thick, it gets the job done with general ease.

Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong Bath Tissue

The Quilted Northern toilet paper offers exactly what one would expect from such a product. These come with a 2-ply texturized sheet that offers excellent absorption and a soft sensation. It is an unscented product, meaning it is void of most chemicals.

Presto! Ultra-Strong Toilet Paper

Presto! Ultra-Strong Toilet Paper is an entirely septic-safe toilet paper. Thick and forgiving, it gets the job done with flying colors.

Charmin Ultra Soft Bathroom Tissue

Charmin UltraSoft was designed to be both mild on the skin and economical at the same time. It is made of a highly absorbent paper that offers both strength and softness.

For some it is more of a family product as it can be used for both adults and toddlers. As one of the more affordable options out there, it is also one of the more popular.

Charmin Ultra Strong Bathroom Tissue

The Charmin Ultra Strong is a solid product that comes with a DuraClean texture. It is made of soft 2-ply sheets of paper per roll which average about 266 square feet. In terms of packaging, it comes in 8 mega rolls, 9 rolls, 32 rolls or 36 giant rolls.

Cottonelle Ultra GentleCare TP With Aloe and Vitamin E

If you need a hint of therapeutic gentleness with your toilet paper, the Cottonelle UltraGentle TP with aloe and vitamin E could be the right choice.

The Cottonelle toilet paper features a rippled texture which many people enjoy, but others may find to be excessive. Likewise, this toilet paper’s use of aloe and vitamin E can be extremely soothing — but some people may not enjoy the sensation.

The coolness and revitalization which these two additives provide to the toilet paper make it a premium roll that’s tough to beat in terms of feeling and quality. Notably, this TP is only one-ply, but it’s a very tough ply.

Weaker toilets may struggle to successfully flush when the Cottonelle paper is in the mix, so be careful.

Solimo 2-Ply Toilet Paper

You probably haven’t heard of the Solimo brand of toilet paper, but it’s one of the most underrated selections on the market. The Solimo toilet paper is a simple two-ply paper with a gently wrinkled texture which few people will find offensive.

This toilet paper is also produced using pulp from renewable sources, meaning that you won’t be harming the environment when you use it like you might be when you use other toilet papers.

While this isn’t a huge concern for most people, if you’re looking for an eco-friendly toilet paper, there aren’t too many options that provide the comfort and reliability that the Solimo paper does.

You’ll need to take the Solimo rolls with you when you travel if you want to use them, however — they’re a bit hard to find in retail locations, and you’ll probably need to order it online.

Toilet paper is one of those things which you can’t live without. Each of the above-reviewed products offers a great deal in the ways of comfort and functionality. It is our sincere hope that you have found exactly what you were looking for.

Sadly Angel Soft changed their toilet paper and it is neither strong or soft. It’s now a two ply that is bad as a cheap one ply (it falls apart with one quick wipe). I called them and they said they changed their quilting (but they also cheapened the paper), and have had complaints on it. They should be last in the ratings its gotten so bad. Not sure if they will change it back or not, but their customer service only admitted they had changed the formula and had many complaints about it. I’ve used it 40 years, and am now looking for something different, which is what brought me here. 🙂

Charmin had not produced Sensitive since last year. They replaced it with Ultra Gentle, which is not the same. Instead of aloe and vitamin E, it uses mineral oil and alcohol. For me, at least, this is an inferior, irritating product. YMMV.

If you have tried the Charmin sensitive before then you will definitely be going to like the Charmin ultra-gentle toilet paper too.
